Backpacking through Lake Ediza and the Minnaret Basin was an unforgettable adventure. The breathtaking landscapes offered stunning views at every turn, and I couldn't get enough of the rugged beauty. During my journey, I made the acquaintance of a couple of marines who humorously dubbed me "Vans Man" due to my choice of footwear for the hike. It was a running joke that kept our spirits high, as I bumped into them repeatedly throughout the week. Each encounter brought laughter and camaraderie, making the experience even more memorable, especially as we trekked toward Thousand Island Lake, where the serene waters reflected the towering peaks surrounding us.
