Gunnison Gorge +

Our side trip to Black Canyon of the Gunnison was a remarkable detour inspired by an image I had previously admired in the Ansel Adams Gallery in Yosemite Valley. The striking cliffs and dramatic shadows beckoned, and I knew I had to experience it firsthand. While traveling to Telluride, we seized the opportunity to stop and camp almost exactly in the spot that had captivated me in that photograph. Surrounded by the canyon's breathtaking beauty, we felt a deep connection to the landscape that transcended time and place, truly echoing the Lord’s grace.
