In the heart of the Sawtooth Mountains, I found myself surrounded by thick smoke, obscuring the landscape as far as the eye could see. The atmosphere was heavy, yet I held onto the hope of capturing a moment of beauty. Just before the sun dipped below the horizon, a small pocket of light emerged through the haze, illuminating a ripple on Little Redfish Lake. This fleeting glimpse inspired creativity and determination, allowing me to compose a striking image that highlights the resilience of natures light even in challenging conditions.
