As autumn descends upon the landscapes of Northeast Oregon, the larch trees transform into brilliant shades of gold, their needle-like leaves creating a stunning contrast against the crisp blue sky. It was during a drive through the highlands that I envisioned this extraordinary grove. The image formed vividly in my mind, compelling me to explore the untamed beauty that I could almost see. When I finally stumbled upon this hidden gem, the larches stood tall and proud, each tree a beacon of nature's artistry. Capturing their resplendent fall colors became a moment of inspiration, a blend of imagination and reality that I have translated into my art.
