Driving through the pounding rain, a sense of anticipation filled the air as I approached my campsite near the Alley Mill. The storm seemed relentless, yet it created a unique atmosphere, enhancing the landscape's raw beauty. Once settled, I found joy in capturing this historic structure—its weathered stones glistening under the showering droplets. Photographing the Alley Mill was a refreshing departure from my usual subjects, the cascading water and lush greenery surrounding it providing a perfect backdrop for this serene moment in nature.
