I set off on my bike, pedaling through the rain with full of enthusiasm. Arriving at Tetherow Golf Course just as dawn broke, I was greeted by a vivid rainbow arching over the greens. It was as if Mother Nature decided to put on a show, celebrating the start of my photography session.
I had heard tales of "Kids Corner," a spot designed by the course's creator, inspired during a challenging time in his life—namely, a divorce. Talk about turning lemons into lemonade; or maybe more like turning tears into triumph. The irony wasn’t lost on me as I framed my shots. There I was, capturing stunning landscapes while contemplating how a man’s heartbreak could yield such beauty.
As I snapped images of the drenched sage glistening in morning light, I couldn't help but chuckle at the absurdity. Here I was, cycling through rain, taking photos of a golf course born out of personal strife, blessed with a rainbow that felt as if it were saying, "Cheer up, everything will be alright!"
So, amidst the mist and memories, I filled my camera with the splendor of Tetherow, thinking that amidst our struggles, nature might just remind us of life’s vibrant palette—and maybe even deliver a punchline or two along the way.
