Mt Hood, Oregon

Customer Reviews

Photographing Mount Hood from Lolo Pass was an experience steeped in anticipation. As I approached the vantage point, the majestic outline of the mountain loomed ahead, its snow-capped summit brushing against a sky that shifted in color.

The challenge lay in my surroundings; power lines crisscrossed the landscape, casting a burden of distraction against the serene backdrop I desired to capture. The buzzing sound of electricity hummed in the air, a constant reminder of civilization within this natural beauty. With deliberation and patience, I positioned myself to circumvent the intrusive wires, seeking angles that framed the mountain with only the verdant forest serving as a boundary.

As the sun dipped lower, the golden hour began to soften the harsh outlines of the landscape. The shadows lengthened and the colors deepened, revealing a rich tapestry of greens, blues, and specks of orange. Each click of the shutter felt like a brief conversation with the mountain, a moment shared in solitude.
