Description: The summer is in full effect. The subtle waves clap quietly along the base of the docks of this crystal clear pristine mountain lake. The sun has already dipped below the horizon and is now painting the large thunderclouds to the east an unearthly purple and pink. The sound of a late summer thunderstorm echos in the distance and all you can smell is the freshly fallen rain that fell lightly earlier in the day. Chills run down your spine as we photograph this scene that is to not soon be forgotten.
During the 2 days we spend in the Lake Tahoe Basin, Jeffrey will lead multiple field sessions where he will show you many of his favorite secret locations as well as his favorite classic locations. During these sessions Jeffrey will address many topics such as, equipment, composition, exposure, searching out good light, shutter speeds, location scouting as well as answering any questions.
Both days will take up the better part of the day (sunrise - sunset) involve much hiking , shooting, scouting, socialization and with any luck, returning with beautiful images.
Food, lodging and transportation are NOT included but to enhance the group mentality, we can/ will carpool, camp, lodge, eat and drink together. An informal review of images and days work can be preformed that night if requested.
Please join us and let us show you the Lake Tahoe you never knew existed!
