People often ask me if this was done using light painting. I answer, "no" and they usually respond with some thing of the effect, "then how did you get that light?" When I looked at the images and saw this shot, to tell you the truth, I wondered the same thing. I was quite surprised and pleased at the same time. I was thinking that the water cascade would be nearly black because it is in dark shadow. To this day it still confuses me and the only explanation i can come up with is because there was so much air in, and behind the water that it was white enough to render white. The best images are the ones that can't be explained or look better on film than they did at the scene.
